Why Do You Have Monthly Billing?

Preseem has two components. The part that runs in your network is responsible for extracting network metrics as well as active optimization such as traffic shaping. The second part is a cloud-based back-end where all the data storage and analysis takes place. Running the cloud half of Preseem requires significant ongoing expenses both for storage and data analysis. Due to these recurring expenses, a monthly pricing model the most sense. This also allows us to provide customers with new updates and features for free. In the future, we may offer a CAPEX based approach with a higher up-front cost and lower monthly costs.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

We require 30 days notice of cancellation. Your service stops at the end of your subscription period or 30 days after the notice is provided, whichever is longer.

How Do You Calculate the Number of Subscribers to be Billed?

Preseem is priced based on the number of subscribers the system manages. In the common case where billing integration is present, we simply count the number of unique billing entities. If there is no billing integration or other sources of subscriber identifiers, we bill based on the number of active IP addresses, subtracting the number of IPs that represent network devices (not subscribers).

Why Don't You Have Contracts?

Everyone wants a good deal, but the reason why you will not find any year-long contracts with us is because we do not want to lock customers into any long-term payments. What Currency Is Preseem Charged In?

Are There Any Other Costs I Should Know About?

No. We hate surprises too. That’s why Preseem has no upfront, technical support, licensing, or annual maintenance costs. You just pay the monthly subscription fees per the number of active subscribers in your network.

Is There Sales Tax?

If you are in Canada, HST or GST will be added to your subscription amount, depending on your province or territory.
