WISPAPALOOZA 2025
WISPAPALOOZA 2025, the biggest annual event on the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA) calendar, is set to take place at the Paris and Horseshoe hotels in Las Vegas from Monday, October 13th to Thursday, October 16th.
As always, there will be plenty going on—more than 2,500 attendees expected, along with more than 150 exhibitors and 60 panel sessions.
With so much happening in such a short time, we’ve studied the conference agenda to pick out some of the best sessions and special events to attend. We hope you find it helpful. And don’t forget to drop by booth 230 during exhibit hall hours to chat with the Preseem team and find out all about our latest features.
Key Sessions and Panels at WISPAPALOOZA 2025
Monday, October 13th
Master Monday is an optional pre-conference add-on that offers curated content across four tracks for CEOs, Business, Regulatory, and Technical, with sessions throughout the day. Here are a few standout options to consider.
- Winning the Churn Battle: Marketing to Keep the Customers You Have: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (Business track) – Did you know research has shown that reducing churn is almost 3x more effective in driving revenue growth than acquiring new customers? This session will focus on retention marketing strategies to drive engagement and reduce subscriber losses. Side note: Check out our blog “Stop Losing Customers to Starlink” for more on this topic, including our top tips for slowing churn.
- CEO Metrics: What You Should Actually Be Watching: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – This session in the CEO track promises to reveal the “5-7 metrics that really matter” for executive decision-making, including churn predictors, install efficiency, customer trends, and more.
- Rules to Know as an ISP (Broadband): 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – This Regulatory track session will cover FCC rules and other regulations that WISPs should know when deploying broadband services. Jeremy Austin, Senior Product Manager at Preseem, will be among the panelists for this expert discussion.
- Interop and Edge Strategy: Making Hybrid Networks Actually Work: 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Technical track) – Hybrid, multi-vendor networks are becoming increasingly common, and this session will explore how to deliver a unified customer experience across multiple access technologies, with real-world deployment examples to be included. Moderated by Jeremy Austin, Senior Product Manager at Preseem.
Tuesday, October 14th
The theme for Tuesday’s sessions is “Learn,” with an emphasis on learning from industry leaders who are shaping the future of broadband.
- AI Demystified: Learning to Lead, Build, and Apply Artificial Intelligence in Your ISP: 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. – This extended session in the Business track is aimed at leaders, executives, and decision-makers who want to learn more about the transformative possibilities of this emerging technology. Expect to get more information on the business case for AI, how to incorporate it into your organization, and hear real-world examples of how AI can help improve customer support, service automation, and more.
- Vendor Spotlight: Tarana Wireless: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – There’s a better-than-zero chance that this session will focus on Tarana’s recent release of their G2 platform, which promises “wireless network economics, a massive capacity increase, and the ability to blend licensed and unlicensed spectrum.” 🚨Shameless plug alert: Preseem is hosting a webinar on Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. Eastern to show our new Tarana RF Score and how our platform supports Tarana networks. Sign up to attend here!
Wednesday, October 15th
The theme for Day 3 of WISPAPALOOZA is “Build,” with sessions geared toward “upgrading your tech, scaling your business, and deepening relationships with solution providers.”
- Building for the Blitz: Surviving Live Sports Streaming Demands: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Traffic can surge 10-15x during major live sporting events, so it’s important to prepare in advance and make sure your network is stable to ensure both your customer and support teams are happy 🙂 Prepare for this session by reading our blog, “Reduce Network Congestion and Support Calls,” which tackles this very issue.
- Building Visibility: Designing a Monitoring Stack That Scales With You: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – This session will take a look at how to ensure your support, engineering, and leadership teams have a shared, clear overview of what’s happening on your network, from telemetry to SNMP to customer QoE metrics.
- Other Key Issues Before State Broadband Offices and State Legislatures: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Though BEAD has been stealing the headlines, there’s plenty of other state policies and legislative issues affecting the WISP world. Attend this session to make sure you’re in the know.
Thursday, October 16th
On the final day of WISPAPALOOZA 2025, the theme is “Compete,” with sessions aiming to help your ISP strategize for success.
- The Latency Wars: Competing Where Milliseconds Matter: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – As we documented earlier this year, speed is no longer the most important consideration for your subscribers. This session will argue that low latency and real-time performance are what drive the optimal user experience and give you a distinct competitive advantage (Spoiler alert: we agree). This panel will include at least one Preseem expert!
- Everyone Has Broadband: Make It Easy to Choose You: 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – Getting a subscriber to switch from a competitor is no easy task. This session will look at how to address pain points and remove the barriers that might prevent a prospect from moving to your iSP.

In addition to all the panel sessions, there’s plenty of other special events to take in at WISPAPALOOZA 2025. Below are a few we think you won’t want to miss.
