WISPAPALOOZA is Almost Here!
With two weeks left until WISPAPALOOZA 2017, the excitement for the WISP industry’s largest annual event is ramping up! Given a record-breaking participation estimate of 1,800 and sold-out exhibit hall, everyone is planning for a successful event. The Preseem WISPAPALOOZA team is also reaching out to everyone to help forge long-term relationships with our WISP customers, as well as billing vendors and other service providers.
Being nominated for the service of the year award is a big moment for us in our journey. For our showcase at the event, we’ve planned an interesting list of activities and are excited to share more details with you here.
Preseem WISPAPALOOZA 2017 Activities
1. Booth #9, Exhibit Hall (Oct. 10-13)
Starting at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th, you can meet the Preseem team at Booth #9 and get answers to your questions on subscriber QoE monitoring. You can also check out our latest features, and get a live demo of the platform in less than 10 minutes! Dedicated exhibit hall hours are as given below:
Oct. 10 – 12.30pm – 3pm, 5.30pm – 7.45pm
Oct. 11 – 12.30pm – 3pm, 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Oct. 12 – 12.30pm – 4pm
2. WISP QoE benchmarks (Oct. 9-13)
Preseem will be launching the first-ever WISP industry QoE benchmarks at WISPAPALOOZA 2017. This report will allow WISPs to learn about the QoE delivered across different vendor equipment. It will also show how to compare that information to their own network performance.
3. Joint training session with Sonar, Oct. 9
Preseem has an API integration with Sonar billing and OSS software, and will be conducting a live training session for all Sonar customers on Monday, Oct. 9 at around 4 p.m.
4. Technical Sessions – QoE and Network Monitoring Options, Oct. 11
On October 11th at 10 a.m., Dan Siemon from Preseem and other experts will have a panel session on Quality of Experience (QoE) and traffic shaping for WISPs. Dan will touch upon the issues with traditional network monitoring and how it compares with QoE monitoring. He’ll also highlight some industry facts and introduce our WISP benchmarks.
At the same time, our CEO Gerrit Nagelhout and other panelists will be talking about network monitoring options for WISPs. They’ll also discuss what kind of modern tools and platforms are available for WISPs to replace traditional methodologies.
These sessions are a must-attend, but if you can’t make them make sure you send someone from your team or get your hands on the post-event slide decks!
5. Demos and Meetings, Oct. 9-13
Throughout WISPAPAPLOOZA 2017, the Preseem team will be available for quick demos and 1-1 meetings with WISPs, billing vendors, service providers, distributors, and media personnel.
