WISPAPALOOZA 2024
WISPAPALOOZA 2024, the largest annual event on the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA) calendar, is set to take place at the Paris and Horseshoe hotels in Las Vegas from Monday, October 14th to Thursday, October 17th.
As always, there’ll be lots going on, with over 2,500 attendees expected, along with more than 200 exhibitors and 70 panel sessions.
With so much happening in such a short time, we’ve studied the conference agenda to pick out some of the best sessions and special events to attend. We hope you find it helpful. Key Sessions and Panels at WISPAPALOOZA 2024
Monday, October 14th
- Marketing Magic: Budget-Friendly Strategies: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – This early-morning session on Day 1 will reveal key marketing strategies for smaller ISPs, including harnessing the power of social media posts, customer referral programs, and in-person events to boost your growth.
- Automating Customer Equipment Provisioning: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Automating customer equipment provisioning can help accelerate growth and reduce labor costs. Get tips on key technologies to use and how implementing workflows can help increase efficiency from an experienced panel that includes Preseem Senior Product Manager Jeremy Austin.
- Getting Started Installing Fiber: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Hybrid networks are on the rise, with more and more WISPs dipping their toes in the fiber world. Learn the fundamentals of fiber implementation in this practical session that promises to cover fiber installation techniques and best practices.

- Competing Against Cable MSO: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – As part of the Business track, this session will uncover effective strategies for competing against Cable Multiple System Operators (MSOs). - The New Shiny: Emerging Tech: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Join Preseem co-founder and CTO Scot Loach for a look at emerging technologies that are poised to impact your business. - Forest for the Trees: Listening to Your Network: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Preseem co-founder and CTO Scot Loach will also join this discussion on effective methods for “listening” to your network to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Discover tools and techniques for network monitoring that facilitate both reactive troubleshooting and proactive network planning. - Supporting Customers in Hybrid Networks: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Keeping with the hybrid theme, this late-afternoon session will explore the challenges of providing customer support across multiple access technologies and vendors. Learn the strategies you’ll need to streamline processes, reduce call volumes, and speed up issue resolution. Thursday, October 17th
- David vs. Goliath: Competing with Industry Giants: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Sessions continue on the final day, including this one on the age-old problem of how regional ISPs can compete with traditional telecom industry heavyweights. Hint: emphasizing exceptional customer service over speed and price is a good place to start. Get key tips and tricks in this informative session.
- We All Need to Scale!: 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – What better way to wrap up your WISPAPALOOZA 2024 session-going than by attending this one, helmed by a panel including Preseem CEO Gerrit Nagelhout? Learn how to drive growth and improve operational efficiency with tried-and-true systems, processes, and strategies that can help you scale your business.

Monday, October 14th
- Preseem Networking Event: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – We’re hosting a free networking event in the Skyview room at the Horseshoe hotel, where our experts are available to demo Preseem or talk about our new features. There’s also an open bar, so feel free to just stop by for a chat and a pre-dinner drink! This is one of our favorite annual traditions at WISPAPALOOZA and we’re looking forward to hanging out with everyone again. Register to save your spot here. - Special Opening Event: Celebrating 20 Years of WISPA: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – After the Preseem Networking Event, head over to this special event at the Horseshoe Event Center to celebrate WISPA’s 20th anniversary. Cocktail hour will be followed by a comedy show from Don McMillan and then a performance from WISPA’s very own Rural Revolution Band! Get all the details here.
Tuesday, October 15th
- Breakfast/Opening Session and Sponsor Introductions: 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Head to the Event Center at the Horseshoe hotel to grab a hearty breakfast and then an opening session featuring sponsor introductions, followed by the annual Speed Networking event at 9:45 a.m.
- Keynote: 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Details TBD
Wednesday, October 16th
- Women of WISPA Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. – Women of WISPA celebrates the advancement of women in the fixed wireless industry, and their annual reception is open to all conference attendees. Preseem is proud to be a co-founder and co-sponsor of this event, so we’ll definitely see you there!
- State of WISPA Address/WISPA Awards/Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. – The anticipated State of WISPA Address will be followed by the annual WISPA Awards. Preseem is nominated once again in the Service of the Year category, and we’re hoping to defend our crown and make it five wins in six years overall!
Thursday, October 17th
- Keynote: 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. – The final day of WISPAPALOOZA 2024 will kick off with a keynote address (details TBD).
- Closing Session and Giveaways: 10:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Before you leave the conference, make sure to attend the closing session and find out if you’re one of the lucky giveaway winners!
Visit the WISPAPALOOZA 2024 Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is the spot to visit vendors, learn about new products, network with other ISPs, and grab some swag. With more than 200 exhibitors on the floor, it’s sure to be busy. The hall is only open during designated times, so plan your days accordingly. You can find the Preseem Team at booth #331-430—stop by and say hello!
