Preseem Deployment
Getting started with Preseem is so easy, you don’t even need to be in-line of traffic to get up and running fast. Preseem features flexible deployment options designed to meet the needs of the most complex Regional ISP networks, with any combination of access networks and vendor technologies.
Preseem Poller
Deployed on the management network, the Preseem Poller collects inventory and performance data using management protocols such as SNMP, APIs, and UCRM from network devices such as switches, routers, radios, APs, CPE radios, OLTs, and ONTs and stores them in the Preseem Cloud. This data is used to automatically build and maintain your network and subscriber topology, and deliver actionable intelligence through intuitive charts, and graphs in the Preseem App – a single pane of glass that all of your teams can access. Preseem InlineIQ Element
The Preseem InlineIQ Element is the hardware, data plane architecture, and software deployed inline of network traffic that performs shaping, extracts QoE metrics, measures RTT latency, and provides the foundation for real-time, flow-based metrics. It collects high-granularity QoE metrics directly from subscriber traffic for every IP address, and combines it with network telemetry from the Preseem Poller. This allows you to measure and improve the subscriber experience, enforce plan speeds, mitigate capacity problems, and more.
- Plug-and-Play: The Preseem InlineIQ Element acts as a transparent, layer-2 bridge, enabling you to quickly deploy in-line of traffic and get actionable insights quickly, without adding additional latency or complex routing configurations.

- Adaptive Congestion Management: Apply Active Queue Management (AQM) through FQ-CoDeL and Auto AP Shapers to reduce congestion with little specialized expertise, and no complex traffic signatures to maintain.
- Topology-Aware QoE: Preseem takes subscriber traffic-based QoE measurements and ties them directly back to the topology. Traffic-based metrics are the only way to truly understand the subscriber experience from their perspective, and how to improve it.
